Meet the Characters

Hi, my name is Mango, and I’m a koala.

I’m very good at relaxing in tall eucalyptus trees… and I’m very good at helping children learn how to take big breaths when feelings feel big.

Sometimes our tummies get the wobbles, our thoughts start to zoom around, or our bodies feel a bit jumpy. That’s when I like to use breathing activities to help calm things down.

Together, we can try all sorts of fun breathing activities — like buzzing like a bumblebee, blowing bubbles, floating feathers, and powering up like superheroes for a big, busy day.

Because your breath is a superpower, and we can learn how to use it together.

So, if your feelings get a little jumbled or your mind feels busy…
I’m Mango, your koala friend.

Hi, my name is Woody, and I’m a puppy.

I have lots of energy and love to run around and jump… I’m really good at helping children learn how to balance and focus using fun yoga poses.

Sometimes our bodies feel wiggly, wobbly, or full of zooming energy — just like when I’m about to chase a ball! That’s when I like to stop and do yoga activities that help me feel calm, focused and balanced.

Together, we can balance like tall trees, feel brave like surfing a wave, power up like aeroplanes, and even wobble like a puppy learning a new trick. Don’t worry if you wobble or fall over — I do that all the time too!

Yoga helps our bodies feel strong, steady and focused, even after a big run around.

So, if your body feels wobbly or your mind is busy and needs a little reset…
I’m Woody, your yoga-loving pup.

Hi, my name is Duma, and I’m a cheetah.

I run very fast and love jumping, so I stretch and sprawl to stay flexible and keep my body strong and confident… and I’m great at showing children how to stretch and move their bodies so they can feel strong, flexible and confident too.

Sometimes our bodies need to stretch and move slowly, especially as we grow and change. Together, we can stretch our arms, wiggle our toes, lunge to the finish line, sway like surfers, and sometimes sprawl out like big lazy cats in the sunshine.

It’s important to notice our bodies and stretch things out before we zoom off again. I like to listen to my body and notice how it feels when I move and stretch — so I can run fast and jump with confidence.

Just like real cheetahs — strong, flexible and full of energy — stretching helps our bodies wake up, slow down, loosen up and feel ready for the day.

So, if your body feels wiggly or needs a good stretch before your next big run and jump…
I’m Duma, your stretching cheetah.

Hi, my name is Blue, and I’m a sloth.

I like to move slowly. I don’t like to rush. I like to notice everything around me and take lots of thoughtful moments… and I love showing children how to do the same.

I move gently through the trees, taking my time to notice the world around me. Sometimes life moves too fast, and we can miss things that really matter.

It’s nice to pause… take a breath, have a think… and notice the positive things in our day we might have missed. Together, we can think about kind moments, happy memories, people we care about, and the little things that make us smile.

You might draw them, write them down, or talk about them together — whatever feels right for you. When we slow down and notice the good things around us, our minds can feel more positive, and our hearts can feel warm, calm and full.

So, when you’re ready to take a quiet moment to think about the good things in your day…
I’m Blue, your slow and thoughtful sloth.

Hi, my name is Fabio, and I’m a zebra.

I love to stand out — did you know that every zebra has completely different stripes? That means no two zebras are ever the same… just like no two children are the same either! I have rainbow-coloured stripes, and they change each day as I grow.

We are all different. Some of us are tall, some small. Some of us are loud, some quiet. Some of us love drawing, some of us love running, and some of us love asking lots of questions. All our differences are what make us special.

Together, we talk about the things that make us proud, the things we’re learning, and the little ways we can believe in ourselves. Sometimes we draw our ideas, sometimes we write them down, and sometimes we just talk about them together.

We’re all unique, special, and good at different things — let’s celebrate what makes us, us!

So, if you ever forget how amazing you are…
I’m Fabio, your colourful, stripe-shining zebra.
